Thursday Entry 1

For my studio/research practice, im going to continue to do the thursday posts and monday posts, when needed.

this one is for last week:


1. Did anyone critique your work this week? If so, what were their impressions?
no, i dont have my first meetings until tuesday/thursday of this week. ive discussed the idea of the mask with stephanie and im not feeling too great about it.

2. What was the most motivational or creative moment of the past week?
the research ive done on concealed identity has been pretty motivational. but i have a lot of issues such as:
space- what does my space look like
viewer perception
ect.....

3. What do you want to achieve in next week's studio practice?
i dont know. possibly, 7 ideas to work with, or 7 coherent thoughts relating to the progression of this project for thesis.

4. What did you achieve in your studio this past week?
i made a mask inspired by a bluejay and shot a few minutes of sketch footage and edited it into three different videos and i put one on youtube. ill post an entry about it as soon as the upload stops acting like a bitch.

5. What was the most profound thought in relation to your practice this week?
Wheres it going?





Supposedly, Courbet only painted the Origin of the Wold and Sleep to gain popularity.
