i showed sonali some video stills of an idea i have, which ill be shooting tomorrow. not sure what her impression was. paul said "go! shoot!", jennida likes the idea and so do i, goddammit.
What was the most motivational or creative moment of the past week?
i spent a lot of time looking up new artists this week because of this major assignment we had due. it was also kind of nice to finally decide on some footage i wanted.
What do you want to achieve in next week's studio practice?
i have to finish this sketch video for crit on tuesday. i want to have a list of questions made to ask everyone regarding the idea (its a long list, too long for now, ill make it another post).
What did you achieve in your studio this past week?
a decision. call it a breakthrough if you want. or false epiphany. lol. my research on the "personal" was successful for me.
What has been an artistic failure this week?
not enough time in the studios as usual. i need to shoot more shit, and even though i quit my other job, the timing is just all fucked up.
What was the most profound thought in relation to your practice this week?
hahaahhaha, its one sentance: "itll crush you if you try to make it mean anything to anyone but yourself"
